Given the right tools, infinite time, take away the financial burdens of professional "help" and a choice to follow whatever you could in order to shed off the unseemly pounds.... what would you do? Oh- and I might add that no matter what you gave up or stopped eating, you'd still be happy. You can't do the "diet" thing and not expect to be bored or unhappy with a poor choice now and then... so with liberation from depression, guilt and that nasty, stomach-grinding-hunger feeling... what would you do? What would you give up? How would you work it off?
Having been a former member of Weight Watchers (which- don't get me wrong, was a great program- lost 30 lbs... once) and then having to let go of it because of financial burdens, I know that it can work and if I had the money to use to pay it off, I definitely believe I'd be back there now. Alas, fundage lacks and I have 36 weeks until my brother and his finace get married. Actually- the dress gets sized about 2-3 weeks early... which leaves me with 33 weeks to have a somewhat-set size for the seamstress.
Why am I posting something like this on a blog? Well,...A- because I can. B- I feel like sometimes even if you're reaching out into the great "void of cyberspace", you feel like you can get a thought or two out and maybe eventually work things out for yourself. Without a group to be a part of, at least I can share the CLiMb with that void- maybe pique that motivation I've been lacking.
It's T- 36 (or 33) weeks and 3 days.
Goal: at least one pound per week = 36 (or 33) lbs lost.
Today's plan: just revisiting my friend: my food journal. Trite? Sure, if you think so, but that journal got me 30 lbs lighter, I know it can do it again.
Well, that's all for now- day one, here we go... wish me luck!
